The 170 Project
Hello 2012!
2011 was a great year for me. I learned a lot about how the body works, diet, exercise, and how to increase my level of fitness. I would say it was more on the experimentation side where I tried a lot of different things and see what worked and what not.
So, here is the deal. For 2012 I will drop to 170lbs by May 31. They say you can’t manage what you can’t measure. My starting weight will be 215lbs so we are talking about losing around 45lbs.
My tools to achieve this goal will be the following:
1. Intermittent Fasting - Will be fasting for 16 hours a day then will only have an 8 hour of window for calorie intake. Calories will be at a minimal since I am trying to lose weight.
2. High Intensity Training (HIT) - Will be doing full body HIT workout at least once a week. Will try to add another training day and see how my body adapts to it.
3. Ultimate Frisbee - I am one of the coaches for Philippine club team Super Bueno. We are training three times a week with the at least one league day per week when the season kicks in.
4. This blog - Will be posting daily updates on how it goes, what happened during the day, or just basically what I’m thinking or feeling. But nonetheless, I will post everyday to keep me motivated.
That’s it for now. Time to pursue my other hobby, photography, and edit some photos.
